The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, is India's oldest and most prestigious veterinary research institution, established in 1889 under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). IVRI has produced every major breakthrough in Indian veterinary medicine — from FMD vaccines to Brucellosis eradication programs.
PVD India received a grant from IVRI Izatnagar under the RKVY-RAFTAAR programme. This grant supports PVD’s mission to bring advanced veterinary diagnostics to farmers across India. Our partnership with IVRI includes:

Chaitanya Laboratory is one of Maharashtra's most established and trusted diagnostic laboratories, with deep expertise in clinical pathology, microbiology, and serology. As PVD India's primary partner laboratory, all sample processing for clinical pathology, culture sensitivity, ELISA and related tests runs through Chaitanya Laboratory's certified infrastructure.
The Chaitanya Laboratory partnership gives PVD clients access to:

Molecular Diagnostics Partner — RT-PCR, DNA & Histopathology
Verity Vet Laboratories, led by Dr. Hitesh N. Pawar (PhD, Animal Biotechnology, postdoctoral research USA), specialises in advanced molecular diagnostics, DNA testing, and genetic analysis for veterinary applications. As PVD India's molecular diagnostics partner, Verity Vet Labs handles all RT-PCR, DNA, genetic testing, and histopathology services.
Through Verity Vet Laboratories, PVD clients access:
- RT-PCR testing: FMD, Parvovirus, Equine Influenza, bacterial pathogens
- DNA & genetic testing: breed identification, hereditary disease screening

The participation brought PVD's doorstep veterinary diagnostic model to a national audience of farmers, veterinarians, agricultural scientists, and government policymakers from across India.
